He has been planning to come home for a visit, but a message came one day this week saying that he would be unable to come at present as he had .received a gunshot wound and was In the hands of a special nurse. They wrote at once for fuller particulars of the accident but have not received any word except a postal card this morning saying he was getting along nicely.—Monticello Journal.
