One of the New York regiments had recruited two men by the name ol Scully, and when flergenat Murphy was asked how he distinguished between the two Scullys, he said: "Oh, ’aslly enough; we call Vis 'Rum-Scully' and Frank 'Num-Scul iy.’* .
