It would prohibit all business and trade on Sunday except that of hotels ‘ and restaurants, livery stables and drug stores and would permit only the sale of medicine aqd sick room supplies. Undertakers would be permitted, under the bill, to prepare , bodies for burial on the Sabbath, and news stands could sell daily -papers, as long as-’-it is donc quiet ly” It also would be unlawful to employ apprentices or servants, except for emergency purposes. The bill is so worded that it would not apply to those of the Jewish faith. Delivery of milk, running of railroad trains, interurban and street cars are exempted, but the bill places excursions by rail of boat under the Sunday ban.
