DR. HANSSON INJURED IN AUTO ACCIDENT
Veterinary Narrowly Escaped Death When Granger’s Auto Struck Buggy He Was Riding In.
Dr. J. Hansson, the veterinary, narrowly escaped death this Saturday morning when a buggy in which he and a man named Wilcox were riding was struck by an automobile driven by a man named Granger. Dr. Hansson had been called to Roselawn on professional business, and was returning to that placfr with Wilcox, an Illinois man who owns a ranch near Roselawn. They were riding in a buggy drawn by a mule. The automobile approached from the rear and Hansson saw the mule was frightened and signalled the auto driver to slow down, which he*did. Just as the car started to pass them the mule swung to the right and car struck the buggy and threw the occupants to the ground and almost passed over Dr. Hansson. His right hip was severely bruised and he suffered other slight injuries. Wilcox escaped more , fortunately. Dr. Hansson was able to return home on the. 11:09 train.
