Several went south of'Newland Sunday to a skating party. Sunday school at Newland Sat urday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Mr. and Mrs. Luther .Tow spent Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Dell Bowman. • Miss Helen Harper is working for Mrs. G. M Beebe at this writing. George Martin hasn’t has house completed yet at Kniman but he thinks it will be near enough completed to move in Wednesday. The railroad men had considerable trouble last week, with wrecks in three different places on the road. They had several cars turned sideways and some clear over. They are now ail straightened up again but no passengers are allowed to ride over the road. Look out for the chickenpox near Pleasant Grove. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Tow and Mr. and Mrs. Luther Tow and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Rees and family spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ballard. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hale and little son spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ballard. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Tow and Mr. and Mrs. Luther Tow spent Sunday with Wm. Raes and family.
