Kuboske Vs. Eck Suit on Trial at Kentland Today.

At Kentland today occurred the trial of Frank Kuboske vs. Frank Eck. Moses Leopold was the attorney for the plaintiff, and Geo. A. Williams for the defendant Levi Kuboske, son of Frank, married Eck’s daughter. It seems that Levi mortgaged all of his chattel property to his father. He was living in Newton county at the time. He later moved to Jasper county and mortgaged the same chattels to his father-in-law. Failing to pay he surrendered the chattels to Eck. who sold them. Then his father went after Eck with a lawsuit.
