A. L. Padgitt will engage in the livery business on March Ist, having rented the former Hemphill barn of Jack Hoyes. He will succeed Tone Kanne, who will have a sale the latter part of this month, and who will move to a farm. Mr. Padgitt is an experienced horseman and expects to put in a first-class livery equipment and will undertake to have in every way an up-to-date livery stable. W. J. Wright, the undertaker, has purchased five new closed carriages especially for use at funerals and these will be kept at the Padgitt bam. Mr. Wright has also bought a new and modern funeral car and his equipment will now be one of the finest in Indiana.
