Olson May Replace Lajoie.

It is declared by those who profess to know that Larry Lajoie, second sacker of the Naps, is due to be replaced by Olson, the shortstop, during the coming season. Olson, who officiated at second for a time last year with considerable skill, is playing winter ball in San Diego at second base. Lajole’s contract with Cleveland has expired and it is declared on good authority that the Nap management will ask him to accept a reduction in salary. It is believed by the Frenchman's friends that he will not stand for a cut and will quite baseball, as he is comparatively well-to-do.
