Maurice E. McLaughlin of San Francisco heads the list of the “first ten” among the tennis players of the country, according to a report made public by the ranking committee of the United States Lawn Tennis association. With T. C. Bundy of Los Angeles, McLoughlin also heads the list in the double class. * . The rankings of the committee are based on the standing of the' players for the season 1912, and ndt on the Judgment of the members as to the relative merits of the individual men. For ranking the singles class, each player must have participated in at least three tournaments, and in the doubles class each pair must taken part in two tournaments.
