Egg Biscuits.

Mix and sift well together one pint of flour, one-half teaspoonful of salt, one teaspoonful of sugar, one teaspoopful of baking powder. Beat one egg and one-half cupful of milk; stir Into the dry mixture, adding more milk, if necessary, to make a soft dough. Turn this out upon a baking board and knead with the hands for a moment. Cut into circles and place one inch apart on greased pans. Brush the tops with a little beaten yolk of an egg and bake in a very hot oven.
