The Reporter’s Spasm.
If imagination’s bubble that you blew has burst in space, and instead, impending trouble stares you boldly in the face, don’t, for your dear sake, get frightened—keep your courage every whit; keep your face with laughter brightened and go marching up to it. “Troubles” are not always troubles, though they bear resemblance strong; many troubles are but bubbles much too frail to stand a song. Every soul may meet with sorrow ere this life is done, we know; but too much of cheer we borrow andtrarisform it' into woe. So, if any little bubble, you’ve inflated, disappears, don’t believe that all is trouble, and surrender to your tears; but keep smiling, keep on climbing up the, hill of happiness; soon you’ll hear the bells a-chiming in the regions of success.
