Salad Dressing.

Four teaspoonfuls of sugar, one teaspoonful of mustard, one-half N teaspoonful of salt, two eggs, one-half cup of melted butter, one-half cup of vinegar, one cup of milk. Mix the sugar, salt and custard together in a bowl, add eggs well beaten, then set bowl over steam of kettle, and add melted butter sloyriy. When it thickens add vinegar very slowly, then when it is as thick as cream add milk slowjy, stirring all the time.’ Cook until as thick as heavy cream. Let cool. It will thicken more after it cools.
