Married at Bride’s Home At High Noon Christmas.

Mr. Thomas Stines and Miss Hazel May Shumaker were married at the home of the bride, about eight miles southwest of Rensselaer, on Christmas day at high noon by the Rev. W. G. Winn, of the First Christian church. The parlor was decorated for the occasion. The east window was used as an altar. The bridal party consisted of the bride and groom, the best man, Mr. Cecil Shumaker, a brother of the bride; the maid of honor, Miss Florence Putts; and the ring bearer, the little sister of the bride. After the wedding ceremony the guests were treated to a real country Christmas dinner. There were sixty people present to witness the ceremony and enjoy the feast, and to make the occasion one long to be remembered.
