Invited Chicago Mayor But He Could Not Come.

Dr. Johnson, who is a personal friend of Mayor Carter Harrison, of Chicago, was recently in conversation with him and the mayor expressed a desire to come here on a hunting expedition. Last week Dr. Johnson arranged with a number of local sportsmen to help him entertain the mayor provided he could come at that time. An invitation was sent to him but he repUed that he was now too busy with the appropriations estimate for the ensuing year and therefore not able to come at this time As the quail reason expires Dec. 31st, it is probable that the mayor will not get down before next fall, when he has indicated that he wijl be pleased to come
