SYLVESTER GRAY NAMED COUNCILMAN

County Councilman Appoint Sylvester Gray to Succeed John Martindale. ri: The county councilmen met Thursday to make some special appropriations, mainly for bridges that are needed soon. $1,900 was appropriated for two bridges in Barkley township; $1,500 for two in Wheatfield township, and $550 for one in Walker. Sylvested Gray was appointed councilman from the third district to succeed John Martindale, whose death occurred recently.
