H. W. WOOD, JR., IS APPOINTED TRUSTEE
Succeeds Harvey E. Parkison— Will Come to Rensselaer and Give Full Time to JobV. _______ Harvey W. Wood, Jr., has been appointed by Auditor Hammond to fill the unexpired term of Harvey E. Parkison as trustee of Marion township. Mr. Parkison tendered his resignation two weeks ago. Mr. Wood lives south of Rensselaer but he intends to move Into town and to devote his entire time or as much as is necessary to the office. He Is a well qualified young man and we believe will prove an excellent man for the place. Mr. Parkison has made a good official. As previously explained he was elected for four years and the term was extended to six years by an act of the legislature. He did not care to serve longer than the four years and his private business was also taking up so much of his time that the office became a burden.
