WHITELAW REID, U. S. DIPLOMAT, IS DEAD.

Foremost American Diplomat Died Sunday at His Home in London, England. Whitelaw Reid, American ambassador to Great Britain since 1905, and the foremost American diplomat, died Sunday at his residence in London. Pulmonary oedema is assigned as the cause of death. The body will be brought home for burial.
