Saw Some Good Looking Land While in Texas.

Mr. and Mrs. Peter McDaniel have returned frojn their trip to Texas, in which state they made quite a stay and considerable investigation. Peter did not make an investment there but he saw some fine country and was especially well pleased with the Brazos river valley. They spent two weeks there with his cousin, Alfred Blasdel, who moved from Benton county to Richmond, Texas, seven years age Mr. Blasdel has 780 acres of land in the valley and says that he would not trade 80 of it for the best 160 acres in Benton county. Cotton, com, garden truek or anything can be grown on it. The land sells at prices ranging from SSO to $125 per acre. Mr. McDaniel says that Mr. Blasdel will he glad to answer any inquiries about land in the Brazos valley if requests are made to him at Richmond, Texas, whieh is right on the river, 31 miles west of Houston.
