Topeka, Kan.—Rivalry for cornhusking honors among the young fanners of Kansas' has already this year developed many experts in the gentle “shucking.” The beat record thus far was made by Henry Hardiek of Lyons, who picked cleaned and cribbed 160 bushels of corn in ten hours. Hie next best performance was that of Joe Black oi Alden, who bad 132 bushels In ten hours to hls credit. Other good records reported range from 127 dowi to 100 bushels in a ten-hour day.
