All grades. C. EARL DUVALL James Thomson went to Hammond this morning to bid his sons. Will and Terrance, farewell, as they started today for Texas, for Will’s health. Terrance was holding a Job at Hammond that paid him $3.60 a day and he gave this up in order -to go to the southwest with his brother, who is so poorly that he would be scarcely able to make the trip alone. The doctors do not hold out any encouragement to, Will, although the warmer climate may prove beneficial. Dexter Goad, the only officer of the Carroll" county (Virginia) court who lived through the fusillade of the Allen gunmen last March, testified at the trial* of Sidna Allen at Wyethville,' Va., Wednesday.
