New M. E. Church to Be Dedicated at Shelby

The First Methodist Episcopal church at Shelby will be dedicated on Sunday, December Ist. This will be an all day meeting and basket dinner. The ladies of Shelby and vicinity will serve hot coffee and lunch in Dickey’s hall, free of charge, to all who care to share their .hospitality. Bring your dinners, if convenient, and we will share with you. The sermon, at 11 o’clock a. m., will be preached by Rev. G. W. Switzer, of Lafayette. The sermon at 2 p. m. by Rev. A. T. Briggs, of Hammond. The Lowell M. E. choir will lead the singing. Mr. Johannesen, of Roselawn, will sing a selection of solos, and we expect the Fair Oaks quartet to sing one or more selections.
