At the regular meeting of the city council Monday evening Mayor Meyers was absent The matter of making the assessments on St. Augustine’s sewer was continued until the n£sct meeting. Babcock & Hopkins petitioned to have Vine street narrowed between Main and Forest streets. The matter was referred to the street committee for inevstigation. C. B. Steward was granted the use of the streets in moving a building, on condition that he gives a satisfactory bond to cover any damage. The following claims were allowed: Corporation Fund. Geo.
