Union Meetings. ✓ Rev. J. C. Parrett’s sermon last night was one all should have heard, froiq the text Ps. 33, verse 12: “Blessed is the Nation Whose God is the Lord.” The rain and election returns kept many away, yet the services were good and all were pleased who attended. William Hogan, who Ts moving here from Monticello, has rented the J. W. Marlatt property, recently vacated by W. C. Babcock and family, on North Weston street. George P. Daugherty, who has been in very poor health for sometime, is improving and is now able to occupy a wheel chair and be pushed about the house.

He did not register this year and did not vote.
