Cole-Slaw.

Put a teaspoonful of melted butter in a stewpan and add to It a teaspoonful of flour. Mix, then pat In a half teacupful of vinegar. Beat an egg and add to it a teaspoonful' each of mustard, sugar, salt and a half teaspoonful of pepper. Beat all together and stir in boiling vinegar; boil one minute. Pour over chopped cabbage, toss and chill before serving.
