Mock Angel Food Cake.

Put one' cup sweet milk in a pan and heat to a boiling point. Put one cup flour, one cup of sugar, three teaspoonfuls of baking powder in a pan and* sift spur fimes. Have the whites of two eggs beaten stiff, then add the hot milk, a very little salt, and one teaspoon of vanilla: beat one mlnyte. then fold the whites of eggs in very gently. Do not stir, fold in by drawing the spoon through the mixture. Butter a pan with fresh butter and bake in a moderate oven.
