WOMAN USES AX ON THIEF

Fells Him as He Battles With Her Husband, and Knocks Him __ Down Stairs. Pueblo, Colo. —Mrs. J. H. Dell man, keeper of a boarding house here, discovering an alleged burglar la tbs room of a guest, called her husband and went for an ax. When she returned her husband was being bested. Entering the fray, she struck the burglar on the back with the ax, and with a second blow tumbled him head first downstairs. When he recovered consciousness he gave his name as Hammond Kurch. and declared he was netting at the Dellman house.
