BOY KILLED BY AUTO NEAR BEAVER CITY
Morocco Man Said to Be Running 30 or 40 Miles an Hour Drove Car Over Lad of Seven Years. Newton County Enterprise. The seven-year-old son of Elmer Kill, of Beaver City, met almost instant death yesterday afternoon, by being struck by an automobile. The boy was walking in the road returning home from school. George Brewer, of Morocco, and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wolf, of Beaver City, were out pleasure riding in Mr. Brewer’s car. The rumor is that the car was running thirty or forty miles 'an hour, but we could gather no information as to how the accident occurred. The boy lived but about fifteen minutes. Mr. Kell, father of the boy, is a farmer and resides on the Pruet farm near Beaver City. This, we believe, is the first automobile accident of the kind occurring in Newton county, and it will probably result in slower and more careful driving.
