WOMAN’S HOME MISSIONARY SOCIETY

Forty-Second Annual Meeting Being Held In Rensselaer Oct, 17th and 18th at M. E. Church. The 42nd annual meeting of the Woman’s Foreign Missionary Society of the M. E. church for the Hammond district of the Northwest Indiana Conference, will hold a bwo days’ session in Rensselaer at Trinity M. E. church, Oct.' 17th and 18th. Members and workers in all the organizations are invited to attend all or any part of the meetings. Mrs. Elbert T. Harris is chairman of the entertainment committee. Miss Emma Knox, of China, will attend the convention and speak on the evening of Oct. 17th. She will give many good thoughts on'China which will be of great help the ensuing year in the study of “China’s New Day.” The first session of the society will be held at 1:30 o’clock Thursday afternoon and the last session Friday afternoon.
