The small daughter of a practicing physician, who evidently has an eye to business, told her mother, in no uncertain terms, that she must call at once on their new neighbor. “And why must I call on her?” asked the mother, amused at the child’s positiveness. “Well, in the first place,” explained the little lady, “they’ve got three of the scrannlest kids, and the mother herself don’t look very strong.”
