PROVES LOYAL TO COMRADE

Convict Abandons Chance to Escape When Friend Falls and Sprains His Ankle. Leavenworth, Kan. —Richard Osborn’s loyalty t,o his comrade, Thomas Johnson, prevented his escape from the federal penitentiary here. Osborn had reached the top of the thirty-foot wall which surrounds the prison, when Johnson, who was half the way up, fell and sprained his ankle. Osborp returned. The two men were discovered in an areaway and returned to their cells.
