Orange Marmalade Has Become Pop_ular Dish in America —How It Bhou!d Be Served. America has become addicted to the orange-marmalade habit. That which is bought, much of it shipped from over seas, is never quite so good as that which can be made at home. For every dozen thin-skinned oranges al-. low. three lemons, all the fruit, being washed and sliced as thin as Then cover it with water in the proportion of one and a half quarts of water to every quart of fruit, and allow It to stand over night.
