Council Passes Vehicle Ordinance And Transacts Other Business.
The city council met in regular session Monday evening. All members were present except Councilman Catt The vehicle ordinance was passed with some amendments. It will be published in full in a future issue. The city engineer was directed to prepare specifications for a sidewalk in front of J. C. Passons’ property on College Avenue. A petition of the school board for a sidewalk on the north side of Susan street from Van Rensselaer to Division was granted. The city clerk was directed to advertise the sale of school bonds, to take place October 8, at 1 p. m. The following claims were allowed: Corporation Fund. Geo.
