60,000 Hunters’ Licenses
Sixty thousand hunters’ licenses jvill be sent out by George W. Miles, commissioner of fisheries and game, within the next few days for distribution by county clerks to the nfanrods of the state. Last year 54,000 were issued and the approximate revenue to the state was $49,200. Each county clerk Is allowed to keep 10 cents from each $1 license fee as his pay for issuing the license. In Marion county, however, where the licenses are issued by the commissioner’s office, the whole amount from the sale of the licenses is turned into, the state treausry.
