Chas. Wood returned home front .work Sunday'. ' Chas, and James Wood called on Earl Foulks Monday evening. Edmund Myers came Saturday for a visit with the Chapman family. Little Paul Johnson was sick the first of the week with dysentery. Mr. and Mrs. Wall are visiting relatives in Hamilton county and also in Indianapolis. Charles McCashen and family and Alva McCashen spent Sunday with their mother, Mrs. Mary McCashen. Jean Marchand reshingled the roof on the house on the farm recently purchased of Richard Foulks. Mrs. Anna Chapman fell and hu rt her knee some time ago and it has been causing her quite a little trouble. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Caster and son, Omar, of Steger, 111., spent Saturday and Sunday with his brother, George, and family. All out* schools have opened except the Queen City, which will begin as soon as the house is completed, and will be taught by Lural Anderson. Center school is taught by Ara Griswold; Lone Star by Martha Clark; Banner by Earl Fouks.
