TWO-THIRDS OF VOTE - HAS BEEN REGISTERED.
If Normal Vote Is Polled at November Election Voters Will Have to Register in October. So far only a little over 68 per cent of the vote of Jasper county has com-plied-with the-registration law. Only those who are registered will be allowed to vote in November. There is still one more chance, namly, in October, and unless the persons who have so far been negligent-in the matter of registration get busy they will be denied the right of suffrage on November sth. In some precincts of the county the vote has largely been registered but Jn others only a small part of it. Walker township has two-thirds of its vote yet unregistered. He is still very weak but is much improved. It was decided at the hospital that it was best not to operaite and there is a good indication that the hemorrhages which were quite extensive before he went to Chicago, can tie stopped and the cause of them eradicated without an operation. Mr. and Mrs. Rue Parcels came down from Chicago Saturday for a visit with his mother, Mrs. E. M. Parcels. Rue returned this morning and Mrs. Parcels will remain for a longer visit. Rue is earning his way through dental college by working at the barber trade. He will re-enter college the first of October.
