The Choice of the People is called a candidate, until after election. He is also called many other things, during the Campaign, by the Opposition. , The Opposition is made up of a lot of Benighted Men. The Platform is composed of Planks. It is prepared by a Committee of Eminent Gentlemen who fondly imagine that they are adding sbmething to History. A Platform is remembered about as long as a Vice-President There are also Voters. They are essential to Politics, for it is to them that the Spellbinders deliver their Impassioned Appeals not to Drag Old Glory in the Dust nor to forget the Heaven-born Principals for which the Forefathers Battuled.
