Women of Resort Employ Detectives to Make “Survey” of Law Violations. Newport, R. I. —Women Identified with the millionaire’s colony have had private detectives for several days making a “survey” of the city. It is said that the detectives will report on all varieties of violations of law here, including gambling, illegal liquor traffic and disorderly resorts. The report is to be sent to Governor Pothier.
