SUE FOR RICH COAL LANDS
Heirs of Former Owner in’ Various Parts of County Attack the Mighty Girard Estate. Shenandoah, Pa.—The heirs of the late Benjamin K. Yost In various parts of the county commenced suit in the Schuylkill county court for thp recovery of 410 acres of valuable coal lands located on the Broad mountain, north of this town. This tract of land is claimed by the Girard estate and has been in litigation for forty years. Recently prospectors found rich veins of coal, and the suit promises to be one of the hardest fought cases In the history of the county.
