Privately Owned Parr Creamery Will Open Monday, Sept 16.

The Parr creamery, started by Jack Wilson and Ed Gilmore after the cooperative creamery was destroyed by fire, will occupy its new building next week and will be opened for business on Monday, September 16th. It will be thoroughly equipped with new modern machinery. Mr. Wilson was the butter maker for 61 old company and after thelfire started to buy cream and soon formed a partnership with EM Gilmore and began the manufacture of butter at his home.
