Beat up four egs with one cupful of sugar for 20 minutes. Remove the beater and sift In two cupfuls of flour and one teaspoonful of baking powder, add four tablespoonfuls of milk and one teaspoon of lemon extract. Mix carefully and pour into a' large fiat buttered and floured cake tin and bake in a hot oven for 12 minutes. Turn out on a sugared paper, spread quickly over with hot-melted jelly and. roll up at once.
