Jumps Rails, Then Returns.

A remarkable railway accident occurred recently oh the Nickel Plate system, near McComb, O. During the night a car in the westbound freight train jumped the track, was pullqd along for a quarter of a mile, and then, on reaching a road crossing, took to the rails again In some unaccountable manner. All this occurred without the knowledge of the trainmen, and ’ was not discovered until next day. All the bolts in the splice bars connecting the rails were cut by the wheels of,the car for the entire distance, and one rail was broken.
