Capt. J. M. Wasson became quite sick again yesterday and during the day and throughout last night he had slight hemorrhages of the lungs, and his condition is regarded as quite critical. He has been in a weakened condition for some time, owing to a weak heart and his present trouble, congestion of the lungs, is apt to go hard with him. Three men were killed, one fatally injured and a number slightly hurt when the Pennsylvania railroad train which left Pittsburg Friday morning for Cleveland over the Cleveland and Pittsburg division, ran into a work, train engaged in clearing up a freight wreck that had occurred a short time before near Conway, west of Pittsburg. The Bell Telephone company has purchased the systems at Muncie, Alexandra and Elwood, Ind., and the independent toll lines connecting these citieß from the Delaware and Madison Counties Telephone company for $400,000. Bondholders will receive about 75 on their securities, for which an average of 85 was paid. Frank B.
