In an effort to prevent a recurrence -of conditions that prevailed last winter, when several children suffered from frozen feet as a result of riding to andLfrom school in antiquated hacks, Dr. H. E. Grishan, of Tipton, health commissioner for Tipton county, addressed a letter to Dr. J. N. Hurty, state health commissioner, asking advice. Dr. Hurty replied that the school trustees can be held responsible under the law for such conditions, and he suggested to Dr. Grishan that a hot water bottle be made of galvanized iron, that it be filled with boiling water before the school hack trips start and placed in the bottom of the hacks as a footrest for the children, this device having been used in other localities. *, ' * “Doan’s Ointment cured me 1 of eczema that had annoyed me for a long time.
