Noted Baseball Magnet Was hi Rensselaer Saturday Noon.
Ban B. Johnson and wife were guests at the Makeever house Saturday noon. They were en route from Chicago to Danville, 111., and were traveling by auto. Mr. Johnson is the president of the American baseball league and the most eminent baseball magnet in the world. He was not scouting for baseball material while here, however, and had nothing much on his mjnd but getting a good dinner, which he bad at the Makeever house.
