Mr. and Mrs. H. F* Parker have returned from their honeymoon trip to northern Wisconsin and taken up their residence in the Kannal property on Milroy avenue. They were married at the Stratford hotel in Chicago on August 7th, and the next day started for Conover, in the northern \ * woods of Wisconsin. They stopped at a farm house a quarter of a mile from / - Rammeles, near Eagle river. Rammeles is a boxcar and the house at which they stopped is about the last one this si.d£ of the Michigan line. They spent some time at small lakes at the headwaters of the Wisconsin river. Fishing was fine and they caught as high as 50 pounds of fish a day. Mrs. Parker excelled her husband in this particular, landing the largest fish caught on the trip, a 10-pound pickerel. It, with several other fish, was sent to relatives here. The trip was one of rare delight and Mr. and Mrs. Parker a splendid time. They saw and visited with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hopkins, who are spending the hay fever period on Arthur’s big farm near Conover. Misses Edith, Alice and Harriett Shedd returned Saturday evening from their summer’s trip abroad. Miss Edith will not teach this year. Miss Alice Is teaching in the Rensselaer schools, while Miss Harriett expects to teach but Is not employed. Miss Naomi Gregg, another of the Rensselaer teachers who spent the summer abroad, had not arrived home for the opening of the schools today, but is expected home by tomorrow. Earl Huntington, son "of Mr. andMrs. F. P. Huntington, of Mt Ayr, expects to leave tomorrow for Steel, North Dakota, where he will spend the winter Vith his brother, Abner. He will attend high school there. Alfred Hoover, of south of tovra, went to Indianapolis on business today. He will probably reinain there for a week and attend the state falx.
