Waste of Breath.

It is a waste of breath to argue with

a person who Is out of temper, the argument was never yet put into words which could convince anyone in that state. It Is a waste of breath to tell a woman to be “sensible” wfcea she is nervous and overstrung; cbeei her up by admiring her hair or her baby, or her new bat, and take bet out to luncheon. It is waste of breath to expect a mother-in-law to see all the good points of her son's cnoice; give her time to get used to the new condition of things, and make excuses for her, remembering that her heart Is sore.
