Violet Sherbets.
A sherbet made of extract of violets was much esteemed In the east, and Mohammed is reported to have said of it that it surpassed all other extracts. In some parts of Europe it is customary to mingle violets,- roses and Mme blossoms with preserves to add a flower element to the fruity flavor.
