CALL FOR BEFUBLICAN SENATORLAL CONVENTION.
The Republicans of Jasper, Newton, Starke and White Counties will meet in delegate convention at Rensselaer, Jasper County, Indiana, at 12 o’clock M., on, Friday, the 9th day of August, 1912, for the purpose of nominating a candidate for State Senator to be voted for at the November election, 1912. ’ The representation to said convention will be on the basis of one delegate and one alternate for each two hundred votes cast for the Honorable Otis E. Gulley for Secretary of State at the general election held in November; 1910, and one delegate and one alternate delegate for an additional fraction of one hundred votes for each two hundred votes cast for the Honorable Otis E. Gulley for Secretary of State at the general election held in November, 1910, and one delegate and one alternate delegate for an addition fraction of one hundred votes or more cast as aforesaid, which will antitie the several counties to the following vote: Jasper 8, Newton 7, Starke 7, and White 12. Delegates to this convention not already selected, will be selected at precinct meetings on Friday, the 2nd, or Saturday, the 3rd, day of August, 1912, and the delegates will cast the vote to which their several precincts are entitled.
