“Full Many a Flower Is Born to Blush Unseen.”
F. H. Robertson, editor and devil of the Mt. Ayr Pilot, pats himself on the back in the following manner: A party from Goodland dropped in and remarked that the Pilot was the brightest paper in the county. To be sure, it made us blush like a sweet sixteener, yet nevertheless, we knew it. Our friend John Carr, of the Fowler Leader prints that we are the best local newspaper man in the 10th district. Modesty along this line, oftlmes forbids us to use clippings and letters of commendation.
