Evening Republican, Volume 16, Number 173, Rensselaer, Jasper County, 20 July 1912 — Present for Mother. [ARTICLE]

Present for Mother.

A very dainty basket of twigs may be made by children, quite easily, and if ft be lined with moss and filled with sweet flowers It Is Just the most delightful present possible to set upon a table for mother to find. If the twigs are not supple enough to bend, as you begin weaving them, dip them In water and then twist them round and round In the form of a nest. Prune any mossy branches or pretty twigs from the trees to make the nest basket, and If you prefer you may fill it. Instead of flowers, with candies, fresh fruit or country egg*, and send it as a gift to a sick friend.
